Information You Submit
Text entered into a search form, such as a name, telephone number, or address, is sent to the outside provider that returns sponsored results. Our servers do not retain a separate copy of those queries. A message sent to us contains only what the sender chooses to provide, and we use it to answer the message.
Information Collected Automatically
Hosting systems normally log an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. We review this information in aggregate to maintain the site and gauge page use. Basic analytics and advertising measurement may also rely on cookies or similar tools.
How Information Is Used
These limited data support site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvement. We neither sell a visitor list nor create individual visitor profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Government portals, Washoe County and Nevada offices, library collections, and outside search services set their own privacy terms. Information entered after following a link is controlled by that destination's policy. The same is true for the outside company that supplies sponsored search results.
Who Processes Site Data
Hosting and support vendors process server logs for us. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information already described. We may disclose data in response to valid legal process and otherwise do not share visitor information.
Data Security and Retention
An encrypted connection delivers the site. Server logs are retained only as long as the uses above require. Because there are no user accounts, the site holds no visitor password or account profile.
Visitors Under Eighteen
The service is meant for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly gather personal information from anyone under eighteen. Contact us if a minor appears to have submitted information so it can be removed.
Your Nevada Privacy Choices
Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A gives covered consumers specific online privacy protections. NRS 603A.340 includes a verified request to opt out of a covered sale, subject to the statute's scope and process. Because we hold very little, a request generally involves checking our contact mailbox and available server logs. Use the Contact page to submit one. Public files held by Washoe County or Nevada agencies remain outside our control and must be addressed with the official custodian.
Changes to This Policy
Any revised policy will appear on this page. Using the site after a revision takes effect indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
